The Elementary Curriculum models for Theater and Dance are intended to provide bare-bones working models for K-5 level teachers, based on current Washington State Standards and intended for Arts and Dance Framework from O.S.P.I. Elementary Dance Curriculum: The Elementary Dance Curriculum is intended to provide a bare-bones working model for the K-5 level. This manual exists as a model for districts throughout the state for use in developing and implementing standards based Dance and Creative Movement curriculum for the non-specialist elementary classroom teacher. Elementary Theater Curriculum: The Elementary Theater Arts curriculum strives to create a usable guide for teachers in Theater/Drama. It's purpose is to provide a bare-bones working model for the K-5 level, based on current drafts of the Revised State Standards for the Arts and the Theater Frameworks from OSPI. This guide exists as a model for districts throughout the state for use in developing and implementing standards based Theatre curriculum for the non-specialist elementary classroom teacher.
